Job description

Your mission

For our People Team, we are looking for an experienced Team Lead People (m/f/d) starting from December 1, 2026, on a fixed-term basis for 15 months (December 1, 2026 - February 29, 2028). In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the People & Office Management Team and will actively contribute to shaping and further developing our company culture.

  • Team Leadership: You will lead our People and Office Management Team in terms of professional and disciplinary aspects.
  • Strategic Leadership: You will oversee and be responsible for the strategic direction and further development of all People areas (Recruiting, People Operations, Personnel Development, Office Management).
  • Personnel Strategy: In exchange with the management, you will develop the personnel strategy, create meaningful and illustrative personnel reports, and formulate data-based, future-oriented recommendations for action for the management.
  • Organizational Development & Change: You will actively support the further development of our team and organizational structures, support change management initiatives throughout the company, and ensure that changes are clearly communicated, cleanly implemented, and anchored within the team.
  • Hands-on Contribution: In addition to strategic leadership, you will also take on operational tasks yourself – for example, in recruiting, maintaining our HRIS (Personio), administrative documents, or in day-to-day People business.
  • Consulting & Employee Relations: You will be a trusted advisor for all employees and management, and will quickly find solutions.
  • Performance & Feedback: You will coordinate and further develop our performance review and feedback processes, as well as personnel development measures, e.g., our Growth Framework and the anchoring of our company values.
  • Communication: You will communicate internal company news as well as People and Office Management topics in stand-ups and via Slack (our company language is English).

Your profile

  • You have 5+ years of professional experience in the People/HR field. During this time, you have gained experience in a generalist HR role across the entire employee lifecycle (Recruiting, People Operations, Performance, Employee Relations).
  • You have leadership experience and have already managed a team.
  • You possess decisiveness and persuasiveness, as well as the ability to handle conflict and criticism, and you convey calmness and structure even during times of change.
  • You are strategic and hands-on at the same time: You will further develop the personnel strategy together with the management, while also naturally pitching in with day-to-day operations.
  • You will confidently lead teams through changes, build trust, and strengthen stability.
  • You have sound knowledge of labor law and continuously expand it.
  • You have very good moderation and presentation skills, a diplomatic communication style, and very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • You live in Berlin. You value personal interaction and enjoy coming to the office. Four days of presence in the office are necessary for this role; you are welcome to work one day from home.
