Team Lead – Operating System Operations

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to serve as a Team Lead in our Compute Chapter supporting Operating System Operations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep expertise in Linux and Windows operating systems supporting virtual servers across a large scale enterprise (10K servers) The ideal candidate will also guide junior engineers and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: System Administration Install, configure, and maintain operating system software on multiple platforms; Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to operating system operations; Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime; Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of operating systems across the enterprise; Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers; Drive operational excellence by identifying and implementing best practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; 5+ years of experience in system administration, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment; Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems; Experience with virtual servers and cloud computing platforms; Excellent communication and leadership skills; Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
