Job description

We, XLETIX GmbH, are market leaders for obstacle course running events in Europe with our headquarters in Berlin. We organize and market the sports events XLETIX Challenge presented by MaxiNutrition, Schauinsland Muddy Angel Run, and XLETIX Kids, as well as the GRAVEL Run for over 250,000 sports enthusiasts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Our mission is to inspire people through sport.

As Team Lead for Participant Communication, you ensure that our customers have a smooth and exciting experience from the first ticket purchase to check-in on event day.

Strategy & Processes:

  • Responsibility for the entire participant communication – from ticket ordering to event information and check-in on event day
  • Development and optimization of Kommunikationsstrategie, including E-Mail-Marketing and personalized messages
  • Analyse & Reporting: Tracking and optimization of communication processes based on relevant KPIs

Führung & Team-Management:

  • Leadership of a team, including yearly planning, feedback meetings, and further development of team members
  • Führung neuer Talente: Conducting job interviews, coordinating the onboarding of new team members
  • Surety of an efficient and service-oriented check-in process at our events (May–September)

Technologie & Innovation:

  • Use of CRM- und Marketing-Tools for effective digital customer communication
  • Use and further development of automated processes and digital solutions
  • Closely coordinating with the departments of Marketing, BI, Sponsoring, and Event Operations, as well as external software providers, to ensure a best possible customer journey

Dein Profil – Das bringst du mit:

Mind. 2 Jahre Führungserfahrung (also disciplinary) in a customer-facing area (customer management, ticketing, support or event communication)
Erfahrung im E-Mail-Marketing, CRM-Systemen und digitalen Kundenkommunikationsprozessen
Technik-Affinität: You work well with digital tools and ideally bring experience with data analysis, automation, or process optimization
Organisations- und Kommunikationstalent: You are structured, self-initiated, and keep an overview even in hectic phases
Empathie und Teamführung: You can put yourself in the shoes of participants and motivate & develop your team
Hands-on-Mentalität: During the event season (May–September), you pack up 5-6 weekends on-site
Safe handling with Excel, MS Office, and CRM-Tools
Verhandlungssicheres Deutsch (mind. C1-Level)
