Team Lead Finance & Controlling (all genders) Germany

We are looking for an experienced developer to bridge the gap between strategic foresight and operational excellence. You will not only be the strategic sparring partner for our management, but also lead your accounting team in Germany with empathy and steer the close cooperation with our Italian headquarters and EU finance team. • You are responsible for the entire finance function of JAKALA Germany, including accounting, controlling, forecasting, cash management, reporting, and compliance.
• You ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB as well as reporting to the international group.
• You develop a transparent, sustainable financial management with budget planning, forecasts, cash flow management, and deviation analyses in cooperation with the central finance team at headquarters in Italy.
• You create informative financial reports, analyses, and financial models as a basis for strategic and operational decisions.
• You are a sparring partner:in for management on financial issues around pricing, investments, profitability, cost structures, and growth initiatives.
• You identify financial risks, establish effective internal controls, and ensure compliance with legal, tax, and group-wide requirements.
• You optimize and harmonize existing finance processes and systems, particularly in the post-merger phase and in coordination with HQ.
• You drive efficiency, scalability, and automation within the finance organization, including the use of modern tools and AI.
• You work closely with international finance teams together and ensure the implementation of group-wide standards and processes.
• You steer cooperation with external partners such as tax consultants, auditors, banks, investors, and authorities.
• You lead, develop, and build a high-performance finance team both strategically and operationally.

Qualifikation

• Long-term experience in the finance sector (ideally 8-10+ years), including first leadership experience.
• Fundamental knowledge of accounting (HGB), controlling, and financial planning.
• Experience in growth-driven, project-based, or consulting organizations (e.g. agency, consulting, tech, SaaS).
• Safe handling of Datev as well as SAP, ideally experience with introducing SAP.
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset, understanding of business relationships, and the ability to translate numbers into clear recommendations for action.
• Strategic foresight and a hands-on mentality, as well as the willingness to pragmatically resolve operational issues.
• Experience in building and developing finance structures and teams.
• Data-driven work style and high affinity for systems, tools, and automation.
• Clear and convincing communication on all levels (team, management, international stakeholders) in German and English.
