Team Lead Data Products & Analytics (m/f/d)

As Team Lead Data Products & Analytics (m/f/d), you will have a significant influence on how we transform data into real business value. You will lead a cross-functional analytics team, build the team lead function from scratch, and connect strategic data requirements with operational excellence. A modern stack, a direct line to the Head of Data, and group-wide impact across Bikeleasing Service, Probonio, and Bike2Future await you. • You will provide disciplinary and professional leadership for a team of Analytics Engineers and Analysts, and specifically develop each individual in their career.
• You will own the team backlog: You will prioritize stakeholder requests, protect team capacity, and communicate decisions transparently externally.
• You will drive the quality and further development of our data products – from KPI definitions and self-service dashboards to semantic layers and AI products.
• You will build lean processes for refinement, planning, and delivery and consistently keep overheads small.
• You will work closely with the Head of Data and technical peers, translate priorities into concrete team goals, and represent the Data Team in coordination meetings with Marketing, Sales, and Product.

• You have several years of experience in the analytics or BI environment and have already led a team or teams professionally or disciplinarily.
• You think in terms of stakeholder value, not tickets, and know when to prioritize, rework, or reject a request.
• You can engage equally with engineers and non-technical staff without having to translate between the two worlds.
• You prioritize consistently and maintain an overview when multiple projects are affecting you simultaneously.
• You communicate fluently in German and English (C1 or C2).
• Knowledge of modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Redshift, Superset) and proficient SQL is a plus – not a must.
