Team Lead Data Products & Analytics (m/f/d)

As a Team Lead Data Products & Analytics (m/f/d), you will have a significant influence on how we transform data into real business added value. You will lead a cross-functional analytics team, build the team lead function from the ground up, and combine strategic data requirements with operational excellence. • You will be responsible for the disciplinary and technical leadership of a team of Analytics Engineers and Analysts, and will specifically develop each individual in their career.
• You will own the team backlog: you will prioritize stakeholder requests, protect team capacity, and communicate decisions transparently to the outside world.
• You will drive the quality and further development of our data products – from KPI definitions and self-service dashboards to semantic layers and AI products.
• You will build lean processes for refinement, planning, and delivery, and consistently keep overhead low.
• You will work closely with the Head of Data and technical peers, translate priorities into concrete team goals, and represent the Data Team in coordination meetings with Marketing, Sales, and Product.

• You have several years of experience in the Analytics or BI environment and have already led a team or teams either technically or disciplinarily.
• You think in terms of stakeholder added value, not in tickets, and know when a request needs to be prioritized, reworked, or rejected.
• You can engage equally with engineers and non-technical people, without having to translate between the two worlds.
• You prioritize consistently and maintain an overview when multiple projects are affecting you simultaneously.
• You communicate fluently in German and English (C1 or C2).
• Knowledge of modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Redshift, Superset) and proficient SQL are a plus – not a must.
