Team Lead Accounts Receivable

Responsibilities:

  • Understands EagleBurgmann and Shared Service Center business context; acts entrepreneurially and identifies opportunities to enhance customer value.
  • Ensures in-time and in-quality delivery of Accounts Receivable services to LSOs.
  • Acts as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Finance Managers regarding performance, escalations, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leads the Accounts Receivable team with a focus on performance, motivation, and continuous process improvements.
  • Acts as a role model and change ambassador, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Develops team members based on performance and behavior evaluations, aligned with career paths.
  • Analyzes workload, proposing solutions to mitigate operational risks.
  • Establishes a feedback and coaching culture, including structured onboarding and knowledge sharing.
  • Drives process improvement, harmonization, automation, and supports implementation of tools to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Ensures accurate and timely reporting of AR KPIs and drives data-driven decision-making.
  • Monitors internal controls in line with the Internal Controls Matrix and CPP/LPP requirements; identifies risks and proposes mitigation strategies
  • Supports external audits as SPOC for respective countries (LSOs).
  • Partners proactively with Finance Managers and Head of CoS Finance on performance topics, workload risks, and escalations.
  • Collaborates with other SSC functions, Freudenberg business groups (BGs) and global teams to share best practices and ensure process scalability.
  • Supports transition and onboarding of new countries or entities into the SSC model.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant regulations, internal policies, and data protection standards.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting, business, economics, finance, or a related field;
  • Experience in IFRS, as well as Share Service Center business;
  • Experience in leadership, team management and hiring;
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies and implementations;
  • Hands-on experience in SAP;
  • Customer-centric mindset with high communication abilities;
  • Business sense and understanding;
  • Strong leadership and people development skills;
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving orientation;
  • High motivation;
  • Team player;
  • Influencing and negotiation skills;
  • Flexibility to adjust and to work in new situations, processes, etc.;
  • Fluent in spoken and written in English; German is a plus;
  • Up to 10% travel required.
