Responsibilities

Your tasks

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
• Ensuring proper and timely bookkeeping
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment transactions
• Further development and standardization of processes and workflows
• Support in budget planning, forecasts, and business analyses
• Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Active participation in the digitalization and automation of financial processes
• Establishment of clear organizational structures and processes in an established environment

Qualifications

Your profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training, e.g., certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
• At least 10 years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Experience from upper medium-sized companies or corporate environments
• Very good knowledge of HGB and confident use of ERP systems, SAP R/3 required
• Proven strong leadership skills and experience in team development
• A strong hands-on mentality combined with structural and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a clear will to shape things
