Tasks

Your activities

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
• Ensuring proper and timely accounting
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
• Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment transactions
• Further development and standardization of processes and procedures
• Support with budget planning, forecasts, and business analyses
• Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Active involvement in the digitalization and automation of financial processes
• Establishment of clear organizational structures and processes in an established environment

Qualification

Your profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training, e.g., as a Certified Accountant
• at least 10 years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Experience from the upper-middle market or corporate environment
• Very good knowledge of HGB and confident use of ERP systems, SAP R/3 required
• Demonstrated strong leadership competence and experience in team development
• A strong hands-on mentality combined with structural and analytical thinking
• Communication skills, assertiveness, and a clear will to shape
