We are looking for you as a team member of our Accounting department at the Bochum location as soon as possible. Become part of the thinkGROUP and support us as Team Lead Accounting (m/f/d)

Tasks

Your activities

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team
• Ensuring proper and timely bookkeeping
• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code)
• Management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payment transactions
• Further development and standardization of processes and workflows
• Support with budget planning, forecasts, and business analyses
• Collaboration with auditors, tax advisors, and internal departments
• Active participation in the digitalization and automation of financial processes
• Establishment of clear organizational structures and processes in a grown environment

Qualification

Your profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship with further training, e.g., Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
• At least 10 years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Experience from the upper medium-sized or corporate environment
• Very good HGB knowledge as well as confident use of ERP systems, SAP R/3 required
• Demonstrably strong leadership competence and experience in team development
• A strong hands-on mentality combined with structural and analytical thinking
• Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a clear will to shape things
