Team Lead Accounting DACH (m/w/x)

The Tasks

We are looking for an experienced person as Team Lead Accounting DACH (m/w/x). In this key position, you will be responsible for the proper bookkeeping and closing of accounts for four companies of the YOC-Konzern in the DACH region and actively drive the development of our financial processes forward.

You will act as a central point of contact for all accounting-related questions in the DACH region.

Professional Responsibility

• Responsibility for ongoing financial bookkeeping (HGB) from four companies in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in collaboration with a two-person team at the Berlin location.
• Self-contained and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Active participation in daily business (no pure review function), particularly:
• Main book, debtor/creditor accounting
• Provisions and allocations
• Intercompany adjustments
• Accounting clarifications down to the detail level
• Development and standardization of accounting processes within the DACH region
• Contact person for auditors, tax consultants, and authorities

Project & Optimization Work

• Participation or leadership in projects (e.g. digitalization, ERP optimization, automation)
• Support during the annual financial statement audit
• Participation in harmonizing accounting standards

Your Profile

• SUCCESSFUL completion of a degree in BWL, Finance, Accounting or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in accounting
• Very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS knowledge an advantage
• Familiarity with SAP ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, DATEV etc.)
• Outstanding analytical skills and structured and solution-oriented working style
• High level of self-responsibility and hands-on mentality
• Fluent German and good English language skills
