Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a welcoming school community in Lytchett Minster, starting in January 2026.

About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ learning and development. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, tailored to individual learning needs.
• Assist in the implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote a safe, respectful learning environment.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver effective support strategies.

Requirements

• Experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting, is desirable.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of classroom management strategies.

To work with GSL Education as a Teaching Assistant, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
• Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
