Teacher: Intersen Phase

Duties Intersen Phase: * To teach the required subject/s. * To teach and assess students. * To provide effective classroom management. * To ensure all curriculum requirements are met. * To attend meetings and training sessions as required. * To communicate with parents. * To adhere to all school policies and procedures. * To be involved in the extra-mural programme. * To assist with the pastoral care of students. * To maintain a well-organised and stimulating learning environment. * To mark and assess learners work timeously. * To develop and maintain professional relationships. * To support school events. * To manage classroom administration. Requirements: * Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent). * SACE registration. * Experience teaching the Intersen Phase. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success. * Strong classroom management skills. * A good understanding of the curriculum. * Ability to use technology in the classroom. * Must be able to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues. Skills and Competencies * Knowledge of subject matter. * Knowledge of the curriculum. * Ability to develop lesson plans. * Ability to assess student progress. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Classroom management skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Commitment to student success. * Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to use technology in the classroom.
