Tax Specialist (m/w/d)

An international operating distribution company for Specialty Chemicals is looking for a structured and communication-strong personality as Tax Specialist (m/w/d).

In this role, you will take on a central function in the area of indirect taxation and support the company with national and international tax questions. The position combines operational tax processes with project-based collaboration in a dynamic, international environment.

Aufgaben

• Preparation of value-added tax declarations and value-added tax returns in the EU and abroad

• Preparation of Intrastat reports as well as Consolidated Reports (ZM)

• Support with processing tax questions in the daily operational business

• Preparation and submission of social security contributions declarations

• Support with social security audits and corporate tax audits

• Coordination and maintenance of relevant accounts in the SAP system

• Participation in preparing corporation tax and trade tax returns

• Collaboration on tax-related and process-oriented projects

• Cooperation with internal departments as well as external tax consultants

Qualifikation

• SUCCESSFUL completion of training as a tax clerk, accountant or equivalent qualification

• 3 years of professional experience in the tax field, ideally in an international company

• In-depth knowledge of value-added tax and tax compliance processes

• SAP user knowledge, ideally SAP R/3 or S/4

• Good English skills in writing and speaking

• Structured, meticulous, and self-responsible working style

• Communication strength as well as confident appearance when dealing with internal partners and external consultants

• Team orientation and high reliability
