Senior Tax Manager – Property & Private Equity Funds (Oversight Role)
We are working with a leading funds management group seeking a Senior Tax Manager to take on an oversight role across their property and private equity fund portfolios.

This is a strategic position, offering exposure to complex structures and the opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oversight of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory matters across property and private equity funds
Review and manage external tax service providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
Partner with fund accounting, investment, and legal teams to support structuring, transactions, and fund launches
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practice across multiple jurisdictions
Act as a subject matter expert for tax implications affecting investors, fund structures, and underlying investments
Contribute to continuous improvement of tax governance frameworks and processes

About You:

Chartered Accountant / CPA or equivalent qualification with strong tax background
Demonstrated experience in funds management, property, or private equity (Big 4 or top-tier firm experience highly regarded)
Strong technical knowledge of income tax, CGT, and GST as applied to funds and investment vehicles
Skilled in managing multiple stakeholders, with the ability to provide clear, commercial advice
Experience in managing external service providers and reviewing complex tax calculations
