The Role
You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality tax advice and compliance services. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Providing expert advice on tax strategies, including corporate tax, GST, and trust tax matters.
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored tax solutions.
- Assisting with tax planning and advisory projects, supporting clients in maximizing tax efficiency.
- Mentoring junior team members and collaborating with senior accountants on complex cases.
- Miniomum of 2 years of tax experience in a New Zealand public practice accounting firm.
- CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification, with solid technical tax knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- A high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
