Tax Accountant

Michael Page have partnered with an ASX listed natural resources company to recruit a Tax Accountant into their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Client Details Our client is a proud Australian business listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Due to company growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its Tax & Capital team with this new hire. Description Reporting into the Accounting Lead, the key duties of this role include: Oversee tax compliance for assigned business entity Monthly tax reporting and preparation Ensure accurate and timely submission of tax returns Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all tax-related matters Provide support to the accounting team as required. Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits Our client offers a competitive salary package, including superannuation, annual leave, and public holidays.
