Royal Ocean Marine is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Superintendent to join our client's team, a tanker company. As a Marine Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vessels. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the safe and compliant operation of vessels; Ensure that all vessels are operated in accordance with relevant regulations, codes and standards; Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; Develop and implement procedures for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels; Provide technical support and guidance to vessel operators and crew members; Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination; Identify and report any potential safety risks or hazards; Maintain accurate records and reports of vessel operations, maintenance and repairs. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as marine engineering, naval architecture, or a related field; At least 5 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably with a tanker company; Strong knowledge of international and national regulations, codes and standards for the safe operation of vessels; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
