Your future team:

At Seyna, actuaries play a key role on two complementary fronts. The Pricing & Acquisition team supports the Sales teams in responding to broker requests: technical analysis, competitive pricing, and development of pricing tools. The Client Profitability team analyzes the performance of existing portfolios, manages repricing, provisions, and product evolutions to ensure long-term profitability. Both teams work closely with the commercial, legal, reinsurance, and Tech teams.

What you will do:

• Conduct actuarial studies and price independently, finding the best solutions to win deals or improve portfolio profitability

• Analyze the performance of insurance portfolios: monthly profitability monitoring, gap identification, strategic recommendations

• Manage repricing based on historical performance and future trends

• Contribute to negotiations with reinsurers and brokers, by preparing clear and impactful materials

• Perform provisioning calculations and improve their methods

• Evaluate the financial impacts of product evolutions

• Collaborate with Tech teams to relay needs, test evolutions, and participate in the automation of analyses

• Participate in cross-functional projects (development of pricing tools, process improvement…)

You are in the right place if:

• You have a solid actuarial background and a good command of methods (pricing, provisioning, profitability analysis)

• You are comfortable with quantitative tools: Excel, R, Python

• You know how to prioritize, work autonomously, and manage multiple subjects in parallel

• You have interpersonal skills and know how to communicate technical results to non-actuary stakeholders (salespeople, partners, management)

• You have a critical mind and a real problem-solving orientation

• You are curious about business issues and seek to have a concrete impact on the company's performance
