Maritime Steward

The tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain and control clean and sufficient bed, table, and bathroom linens.
• Control utensils for use, personal hygiene materials, and perform common area and cabin cleaning.
• Verify the validity of provisions and maintain precise records, cleanliness, and conservation of areas such as kitchen, dining room, refrigerated rooms, and storage rooms.
• Daily or as needed higienization of utensils and equipment used.
• Perform cabin and dependency cleaning and maintenance control.
• Work in partnership with outsourced hotel staff, if applicable.
• Comply with company standards, report irregularities, and ensure services are executed with quality and within deadlines.
• Auxiliary or substitute the cook, preparing meals such as breakfast, snacks, and lunches.
• FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES OF THE GOOD PRACTICES MANUAL FOR PREPARATION AND HYGIENIZATION.
• Comply with safety and hygiene standards, using uniforms and Individual Protective Equipment (EPIs) as required.

Requirements

Necessary Education:

• Completed High School;
• Maritime Aquaviary Formation;
• Valid TBS, EBCP, STCW Certificates;

Experience / Knowledge / Skills:

• Experience in the function and in maritime support units.
