Paladin is Hiring a Healthcare Security Officer! About the Opportunity As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors in a dynamic hospital environment. Full-Time | On-Site | $20.50/hour Key Responsibilities: Patrol Hospital Grounds: Conduct regular rounds of the hospital grounds to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors. Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential security breaches. Conduct thorough investigations of reported incidents and provide recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with hospital staff to develop and implement effective security protocols. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents and investigations. Key Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in a security-related field or a related field such as law enforcement, emergency medical services, or healthcare. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods. Ability to work in a dynamic hospital environment with frequent interruptions and distractions. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records. Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
