Psychology Graduate – Teaching Assistant
Location: Wigan
Pay: Up to £100 per day
Contract: Full-time or Part-time, Flexible

Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to put your studies into practice? A friendly primary school in Wigan is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support for pupils and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist children individually and in small groups to enhance learning.
• Support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to maintain consistent support.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and participation in school life.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Degree in Psychology (or related subject).

• Any experience with children is welcomed, but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
