The everyday experience of various interconnected services in all areas of our lives also leads to a massive change in the automotive industry. The automobile manufacturers are eager to provide new offers and services through apps and infotainment systems in their vehicles. As a result, the future of the automobile is significantly defined by software. To grasp the complexity of the software-defined vehicle, it is unavoidable to abandon the classical domain- or feature-based E/E structure. Tasks
- You will work on conceptualizing future vehicle architectures
- You will research the latest methods for test design and test automation
- You will support in designing test cases
- You will develop algorithms with regard to test data generation and automation routines
- You will conduct tests and evaluate them to ensure functionality and quality
Requirements
- Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable field of study
- A strong interest in the automotive industry and technology trends in the automotive sector
- Programming experience in an object-oriented programming language (e.g. Python, Java, C++)
- Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking (at least C1 level)
- Experience: 3 to 6 years
- Experiences with IT concepts, such as software architectures and cloud services
- Networked and interdisciplinary thinking, as well as a systematic and structured working method
- Creativity, engagement, goal-orientedness, and team ability
