Position: Systems Engineer
Location: Northern Suburbs
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + Super + Perks
Job Type: Permanent

Position Overview:
OUI Recruitment is partnering with a growing technology solutions provider seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team in Perth's Northern Suburbs. This position is ideal for someone looking to step into a more advanced technical role whilst continuing to develop their skillset. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain core infrastructure for both internal and customer environments
  • Provide a mix of BAU escalation point support and projects
  • Understand customer problems and challenges, providing tailored technical solutions
  • Implement solutions that align with customer requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and valuable insights to colleagues and customers
  • Deploy and support selected technology solutions from planning through to implementation
  • Mentor junior colleagues in developing their technical and support skills
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions and processes
Role Requirements:
  • Experience in a systems or infrastructure role
  • Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills
  • Proven project experience and implementing technical solutions
  • Experience working autonomously whilst contributing to team objectives
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to think strategically
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior team members
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
Technical Requirements:
  • Microsoft 365 administration and management
  • Azure Administration and cloud services
  • Hyper-V virtualisation
  • Microsoft Defender 365 and security solutions
  • VMware virtualisation platforms
  • LAN/WAN technologies and infrastructure
Desirable:
  • Relevant IT certifications (highly desirable)
  • Experience working with firewalls (Palo Alto)
  • Experience working with Aruba networks
