Job description
- 7 month role
- Brisbane CBD based
- Working arrangements are 4 days in office, 1 day remote per week
You will:
- Remediate and mitigate Cyber Security vulnerabilities through patching, configuration changes and system upgrades.
- Perform the entire lifecycle of vulnerability remediation including planning, change control, testing and implementation.
- Assist with the development of automated patching strategies to automate the regular rollout of patches in line with the ACSC Essential 8
- Implement automated patching systems to rollout both operating system and application patches to a diverse range of technologies comprising servers, workstations and IoT devices.
- Implement group policy, Intune policy or scripting solutions to remediate configuration vulnerabilities across servers, workstations, mobile devices and IoT devices.
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Operations, System Administration, or similar technical roles
- Proven experience in deploying, configuring and maintaining a diverse range of IT infrastructure including, Windows Servers, Active Directory, SQL clusters, Commvault, Group Policy, VMware ESX clusters, mobile devices and IoT devices.
- Proven experience configuring and managing, Intune, Azure update manager, server monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Solid understanding of ITIL or similar IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
- Recent experience in vulnerability management, particularly within large enterprise, corporate, or government settings
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and operate under pressure with multiple stakeholders
