System Integrations Engineer:in (VoIP)

Transparency regarding salary:

This position is aimed at candidates with at least one year of relevant practical work experience in the VoIP/SIP field.

The salary range lies between 80,000 € and 100,000 € gross per year, depending on experience.

Work model: Full-time, Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office).

Location: Elmshorn (approximately 30 minutes northwest of Hamburg city center)

Muxon is a small, globally active personnel agency and conducts this search on behalf of our partner - a growing cloud communications and SaaS company that offers innovative business telephony solutions to improve customer interaction and service quality. With around 50 employees, a cooperative culture, and strong innovation focus, the company develops next-generation VoIP- and AI-based communication platforms used by thousands of companies across Germany.

Tasks

• Development, operation, and debugging of the SIP/VoIP platform
• Analyzing and optimizing complex call flows to ensure quality and scalability
• Maintaining and monitoring Telekom core systems (SBCs, trunks, telephone platforms)
• Troubleshooting performance, quality, and stability issues
• Supporting incident management, escalations, and root cause analyses
• Ongoing improvement of the platform's reliability, capacity, and documentation

Qualification

• Fundamental practical knowledge in SIP, RTP, and VoIP architectures
• Experience with trunking (SIP trunks), session border controllers (SBCs), and telecommunications/telephone platforms
• Excellent analytical skills and troubleshooting competence for complex systems
• Reliability and dependability in critical incident situations
• German language skills at C1 level or higher, as well as fluent English
• At least 1 year of relevant experience with VoIP/SIP
