Job description

Your career in developing complex aerospace systems.

At BRÜGGEN ENGINEERING, you will take on a central role in conceiving and implementing innovative projects in the aerospace industry. You will develop system designs according to specific customer requirements and implement these considering feasibility, risks, costs, and timelines. With technical foresight and interdisciplinary cooperation, you will design forward-looking systems and significantly contribute to the successful realization of challenging technological missions.

Tasks

  • System Development & Architecture: Conducting system-wide engineering activities such as Requirements Engineering, defining technical specifications, and developing system architectures and designs for satellite ground stations, IT, and HF systems.
  • Techical Solution Finding: Developing and documenting technical solution approaches in close coordination with the participating disciplines.
  • Project Planning & Coordination: Structuring and planning work packages as well as coordinating technical interfaces across all departments.
  • Design & Documentation: Creating system block diagrams, design, and interface descriptions, as well as accompanying technical documentation.
  • Test- and Integration Activities: Developing, planning, and operational support for system tests, integration, and acceptance, including requirements management.
  • Project Integration: Close cooperation with project leadership and departments to ensure compliance with time, budget, and quality targets.
  • Processes & Further Development: Ensuring compliance with development guidelines as well as actively participating in optimizing methods, tools, and technologies.

Qualification

  • Qualification: Completed studies in engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Fachwissen: In-depth knowledge in at least one of the following areas: Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, High-Frequency Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or IT Systems.
  • Methodenkompetenz: Experience in system development as well as a secure handling of development processes, interface documentation, and system design.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, high self-responsibility, team ability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Sprachen & Tools: Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
  • Mobilität: Willingness to occasional business trips.
