System Engineer (m/w/x) Passive Radar

Project Description:

To support our team at a renowned customer in the field of defense technology, we are looking for a System Engineer (m/w/x) Passive Radar in permanent employment at K-tronik. Sounds interesting? Then we look forward to your application!

Tasks:

• Development, implementation, and optimization of signal processing algorithms for passive radar systems - Processing and evaluation of bistatic/multistatic radar signals with regard to target detection, tracking, and classification (e.g. CFAR, Tracking, Data Fusion) - Design of system concepts and creation of system documents (interface documents, verification and acceptance documents, etc.) - Requirements Engineering and Management - Synchronization and processing of existing sender infrastructure (FM, DVB-T, DAB, LTE, 5G, 6G, etc.) - Simulation and analysis of radar scenarios (e.g. in MATLAB, Python, C/C++) - Planning, execution, and evaluation of verification and acceptance tests - Participation in multidisciplinary teams for the development of systems/products with close cooperation with technical development, production, logistics, and suppliers - Support for national and international test campaigns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a comparable qualification - In-depth knowledge of radar and signal processing, preferably in the field of passive radar - Experience in developing radar systems and system verification and acceptance - Practical experience with time-frequency analysis, cross-correlation, Doppler processing, and detection algorithms - Very good programming skills in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++ - Secure handling of MS Office and relevant IT tools - Fluent German and English language skills
