System Engineer (m/w/d) Active Sensors

Tasks

System Concept: Evaluation and definition of complex customer and system requirements

Architecture & Design: Definition and implementation of system and subsystem components and their interfaces

Qualification: Definition of proof-of-concept and planning of comprehensive qualification tests

Integration & Test: Taking over the commissioning and testing on subsystem and system level

Project Responsibility: Independent leadership of work packages regarding time, costs, quality, and risk

Interface Management: Technical guidance of subcontractors including support for customers during integration and acceptance

Fieldwork: Active participation in field tests, measurement campaigns, and customer demonstrations

Dokumentation: Creation of comprehensive development, product, and proof-of-concept documents

Qualification

Educational Background: Successfully completed technical degree (Bachelor, Master, Diplom) in the field of engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace technology or a comparable qualification

Experience: Several years of fundamental professional experience in systems engineering

Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge in at least one area: electrical components, signal processing, hardware and software, proof-of-concept or test concept development

IT Skills: Knowledge of MS-Office and fundamental user knowledge of SAP

Soft Skills: High level of self-initiative, structured working style, strong communication skills and team spirit

Languages: Conversational German (C1 level) and good English language skills

Mobility: Willingness to travel for business purposes to Aalen
