System Engineer (with focus on technical system maintenance in the field of energy solutions)

What you can expect from us

We at Allgäu Battery accompany our customers in the field of energy solutions from initial consultation to technical conception and implementation, including service. Everything from one hand. As a System Engineer Energy Solutions, we expect you to take on a responsible role with a clear technical focus. You develop individual energy solutions for our customers and accompany them from the first idea to a detailed technical implementation concept. In doing so, you think holistically: You consider all relevant components for an efficient and intelligent energy management system – from building up the charging infrastructure over analyzing generators like PV systems to consumers, peak loads, and the respective regulatory framework at the location.
Together with your colleagues from project leadership, you guide our customers through all project phases. Even after successful implementation, you keep the application in mind, identify optimization potential, and support our customers sustainably in the further development of their individual energy solution.

As part of our Energy Solutions team

• Technical introduction and maintenance of new components (battery storage systems, EMS, interfaces, charging stations, EZA regulators)
• Integration and testing of new products including function and compatibility tests
• Service in the EMS area
  • Analyze and evaluate operating data
  • Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting for EMS and interface issues
  • Optimization of system parameters to improve efficiency
  • Conducting remote and on-site service interventions
• Monitoring and performance analysis to ensure system stability
• Coordination of updates and firmware adaptations
• Support for projects (e.g. commissioning, system optimization)
• Maintenance and further development of the EMS for energy solutions
• Interface management between EMS and connected systems (inverter, charging infrastructure, monitoring platforms)
• Preparation of technical documentation
• Technical support and knowledge transfer for project leaders

You bring with you

• Your passion for technical conception that already considers implementation
• Your strength: You think networked and understand the interconnections of complex energy systems. You work structured, analytically, and with a high technical understanding. You proactively approach customers, can accurately capture requirements, and translate them into clear technical concepts. Teamwork is just as important to you as independent work – you exchange ideas with colleagues, take responsibility in projects, and always keep the overview even when dealing with multiple parallel tasks. Additionally, you bring the ability to explain solutions clearly and accompany our customers sustainably in the optimization of their energy solutions.
• Experience in technical system integration, including knowledge of EMS, battery storage systems, interfaces (Modbus/MQTT), EZA regulators
• Degree or training in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology, computer science, or comparable
