The Liebherr-Rostock GmbH is one of the leading European manufacturers of maritime handling technology. The program includes ship-, harbor-mobile- and offshore cranes. Additionally, components for container cranes are part of the product portfolio. System Engineer for Performance-Electronic Crane Systems (m/w/d) Job-ID 80511 Tasks Maritime cranes are complex systems with electrical power supply, distribution and drive technology. They consist of numerous interconnected components and parts that require precise coordination and control. The system engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these systems, including the planning, design, implementation and testing of performance-electronic crane systems. This includes the development of control concepts, the selection and configuration of electrical components, as well as the integration of sensors and actuators. In addition to the technical aspects, the system engineer must also consider safety and environmental aspects, as well as compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The tasks include: • Planning and design of performance-electronic crane systems • Development of control concepts for maritime cranes • Selection and configuration of electrical components • Integration of sensors and actuators • Testing and commissioning of performance-electronic crane systems • Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing systems • Collaboration with other departments, such as production, quality assurance and logistics. The system engineer must have a strong understanding of electrical engineering, including power electronics, control systems and automation technology. In addition, experience in the design and implementation of complex systems is required. The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as excellent communication skills are also essential.
