Aufgaben

You will be with us ...

• System Administrator/-in for public administration and part of a team of motivated IT experts.
• Responsible for the planning and conception of system and application landscapes.
• Promote the setup, configuration, and testing of IT and application systems and ensure their continuous further development.
• Take over the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of database systems (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as connected applications.
• Plan and perform updates, upgrades, and patches for systems, applications, and databases.
• Correct errors and disturbances in the system-, application- and database environment or coordinate complex error searches.
• Fully cooperate with application development, IT operations, and external service providers.

Qualifikation

You bring this ...

• A experienced and motivated Administrator with a degree or comparable, convincing practice knowledge.
• Interest in new challenges in challenging projects with diverse tasks.
• Routine handling of different operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Unix, Linux) and basic knowledge in network and IT security.
• PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE IN THE DATABASE FIELD (MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) as well as in have gained.
• Ideal candidate has already worked in the web server and application environment.
• You are curious and recognize optimization potential in systems, applications, and databases and would like to implement it.
