System Administrator (m/w/d) IT Infrastructure / Healthcare

Our hospital network operates several locations in the Wiesbaden and Rheingau area, which are centrally managed through our data centers. As part of the critical infrastructure, we work with modern technologies and ensure that systems run reliably and securely – for thousands of employees, doctors, and patients.

Tasks

• Maintenance and further development of our IT infrastructure (servers, virtualization, storage, network)
• Administration of firewall and security solutions (e.g. Palo Alto, Fortinet, ESET)
• Support for the operation and expansion of our Citrix farm (new build in 2026)
• Participation in exciting projects in the areas of IT security, automation, and backup
• Administration of fiber optic connections, core and access switches
• Support for TI system and database administration (Oracle, SQL)
• Participation in planning and implementation of solutions for our clinic locations

Qualification

• Completed training or studies in the IT field – e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration or comparable
• Experience in the area of IT infrastructure, network, or system administration
• Interest in topics such as IT security, virtualization, and hospital IT
• Team spirit, initiative, and willingness to actively work on site at the clinic
• Readiness for occasional call availability, as we are part of critical infrastructure
