System Administrator (m/f/d) – Automation & Tools
Job description
We are an owner-managed IT service company from Berlin and have been on the market for over 15 years. Our team supports the IT infrastructure of more than 15,000 employees in the healthcare sector at over 2,500 workplaces. Our goal: People should be able to rely on modern technology in their daily work – from support to stable system operation. Our focus is on small and medium-sized companies, especially in healthcare. With a lot of experience and a clear focus on the needs of our customers, we develop IT solutions that make everyday life safe and uncomplicated – from the company cloud to automated deployment and modern security concepts.
Our Operations Team ensures the highly available operation of our central IT infrastructure and develops it strategically. This includes the conception and design of new systems, as well as continuous monitoring and proactive maintenance of our platforms. Through clear standards and technical specifications, we create a stable basis for our helpdesk and the IT Projects team – and ensure that our solutions function reliably, scalably, and stably in our customers' daily lives.
We are looking forward to welcoming a new team member as a System Administrator – Automation & Tools in full-time, who will make the full potential of the tools we use usable throughout the company, support and simplify our support processes, and thus advance our entire IT – nationwide remote from home office or coworking space.
As part of our existing tool landscape, you will expand and continuously develop the tools we use, such as NinjaOne, ControlUp, nerdio, and others – from conception to implementation to training your colleagues.
You will analyze existing processes and (partially) automate them using scripting, so that recurring tasks run more easily, faster, and more reliably.
You will assess other tools for optimizing and supporting our operational and support processes with expert knowledge, implement them in a controlled manner, and accompany their integration into our environment.
With a clear focus on optimization and further development, you will contribute to the expansion of a scalable, maintainable, and largely automated infrastructure and ensure that our IT operations continuously improve.
What you should bring:
You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist, a degree with an IT focus, or a comparable qualification.
In addition, you have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in the administration of tools such as NinjaRMM, ControlUp, nerdio, or comparable solutions.
You have in-depth knowledge in optimizing the use of IT tools and confidently use scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, or common programming languages in your daily work.
You are motivated by taking on projects independently and implementing them in a solution-oriented manner, and you value professional exchange within the team.
You communicate confidently and professionally in German, both orally and in writing (at least C1 level).
Working at netzbest means:
Fair pay and permanent employment contract
Flexible working conditions and no night or weekend work
Unbeatable team spirit and flat hierarchies
Remote work with quarterly on-site visits in Berlin at the company's expense
