Job description

We are an owner-managed IT service company from Berlin and have been on the market for over 15 years. Our team supports the IT infrastructure of more than 15,000 employees in the healthcare sector at over 2,500 workstations. Our goal: People should be able to rely on modern technology in their daily work – from support to stable system operation. Our focus is on small and medium-sized companies, especially in healthcare. With a lot of experience and a clear focus on the needs of our customers, we develop IT solutions that make everyday life secure and uncomplicated – from the corporate cloud to automated deployment and modern security concepts.

Our 2nd-Level Support is divided into two teams. In the “Application & Infrastructure” team, we take care of complex incidents in various applications as well as in the underlying infrastructure, ensuring that everything runs stably and smoothly in the background. When things get challenging, we analyze the cause, find pragmatic solutions, and work together to ensure that our customers can rely on their systems and applications at all times.

We are on a growth course, so we are pleased to welcome new colleagues who will support our 2nd-Level Team “Application & Infrastructure” nationwide remotely (home office or coworking space) or also at our Berlin office.

These are your responsibilities:

  • You will remotely process complex incident tickets in the areas of Application & Infrastructure with a focus on the Microsoft environment as well as various applications in the healthcare sector.

  • Your tasks include, among others, restoring folders, expanding virtual system resources, and supporting standard and customer applications in a Windows Server, Terminal Server, and Citrix environment.

  • For updates of customer applications, you will coordinate appointments with customers and service providers, carefully prepare the updates to minimize downtime, and you will install and distribute the updates via images.

  • In direct telephone contact with our customers, you will independently research all necessary information, communicate in a service-oriented manner, and keep them informed with regular status updates.

  • Through careful documentation, targeted knowledge transfer, and effective internal communication, you actively contribute to ensuring smooth and efficient support.

What you should bring:

  • You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a comparable qualification.

  • You have 3 to 5 years of experience in the administration, installation, and support of applications such as DATEV, MD Ambulant / Stationär, Sage, StarMoney, or comparable applications in the healthcare sector.

  • Furthermore, you have good knowledge of Microsoft and/or Citrix environments, as well as the installation of applications in client/server environments and on provisioned systems.

  • Your profile is complemented by a strong service orientation and very good German language skills, both written and spoken, at least C1 level.

Working at netzbest means:

  • Fair pay and permanent employment

  • No night or weekend work

  • Unbeatable team spirit and flat hierarchies

  • Remote work with quarterly on-site visits to Berlin at the company's expense

  • Company-wide joint summer & Christmas party in Berlin

  • Membership in the Urban Sports Club or Hansefit and company pension plan with DYNO

  • IT with lived equality

From student assistants to management – we all use the informal “du”. We invite people who are interested in becoming part of our team to do the same. You can find more information about our way of working and company culture at https://karriere.netzbest.de.
