System- and Network Administrator (m/w/d)

The Ritter Technologie GmbH is embedded in a stable corporate group that comprises around 100 companies across various industries and approximately 6,500 employees. Our self-developed innovative applications are connected to standard products to create high-performance comprehensive solutions that set our internal and external customers apart from others.

Tasks

The responsibilities include:

• Firewall administration (Linux, Fortinet, pfSense) including configuration and management of VPN connections
• Customer support in the 1st- and 2nd-level areas (remote and on-site)
• Configuration and administration of switches (Layer 2/3)
• Routing configuration and optimization in local and wide area networks
• Administration and operation of WLAN infrastructure (Unifi)
• Techincal consultation for customers and accompaniment of projects on-site
• Support in creating the corresponding operational and installation documentation
• Closely working together with colleagues from the network, Microsoft, and software development teams

Qualification

We are looking for:

• Ideal candidate with a completed training as IT system electronics technician (m/w/d) or computer scientist (m/w/d) or equivalent qualification
• Multiple years of experience in the administration of network and IT infrastructures
• Fundamental knowledge in firewall administration (e.g. Linux-based firewalls, Fortinet, and pfSense)
• Experience in configuring switches, routing protocols, and WLAN infrastructure (especially Unifi)
• Knowledge in VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL-VPN, WireGuard, etc.)
• A high level of service and customer orientation
• Self-starter, conceptual, and solution-oriented work
• Availability for travel and a driving license class B are essential requirements for this position
• Good German and English language skills in writing and speaking
