System Support Engineer (m/w/d)

Implementation of maintenance and support activities in campus, data center, and wide-area networks as well as network security. CPP relies on the availability and performance of our infrastructure solutions. Our main task is to ensure these according to agreed-upon service levels and cost specifications. Project work includes both solution-oriented innovation projects and the role of infrastructure lead in business and application projects. The project and design scope encompasses CPP locations in Romania, Singapore, and Australia as well as network integration with other Canon units worldwide. Bachelor-level thinking and the ability to develop further on senior-level positions within the infrastructure are required. Good knowledge and great interest in IT networking are expected. Practical experience is advantageous. CPP is currently migrating from Cisco to HPE Aruba Switches and WLAN. We also use Check Point and F5 for firewalls, load balancing, and VPN. Ability to focus on efficient and effective operational excellence within defined guidelines. Team player with the ability to work together with internal and external partners and customers. Good communication skills in English. German knowledge is a plus. Working hours: 36 hours per week. Vacation: 30 days. Structured onboarding and buddy system for support during the transition period.
