System & Network Administrator (m/w/d) IT-Infrastruktur | Allgäu / Bayern

My client is an established, innovation-driven technology company with over 2,000 employees in Germany. The focus lies on the development and production of high-quality electronic solutions for demanding industrial sectors.

Your Mission

You shape and secure the smooth operation of a modern IT infrastructure and ensure that employees can work productively – from network to servers to clients and applications. By combining solid administration knowledge with structured working and an eye for optimization potential, you create a seamless experience.

Tasks

• Administration and operation of IT systems, network environments, and server landscapes
• Care and maintenance of Windows- and Linux-based systems as well as Active Directory environments
• Safeguarding and expansion of network and IT security
• Support for users through professional IT support & troubleshooting
• Participation in projects to optimize and further develop the infrastructure
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and process descriptions

Qualification

• Completed IT training (e.g. Fachinformatiker/in Systemintegration) or comparable qualification
• Fundamental experience in administering IT systems
• Safe handling of network technologies and protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN etc.)
• Knowledge of Windows Server environments and ideally Linux
• Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware) is advantageous
• Analytical thinking, service-oriented working style, and teamwork
