System Integration Test Architect Automotive Software

The Ideal Candidate
To ensure your success in this role, the following experience is needed:
• 10+ years’ experience in testing embedded systems, including 1-2 years’ experience as a test architect.
• Programming experience in ANSI C.
• Expertise in MCU peripherals and external devices such as power management devices, transceivers, external flash, etc., and proficiency in testing software that enables these devices.
• Debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software.
• Proficiency in GIT or other version control systems.
• Strong analytical skills to understand, model, and analyze electronic circuits and systems, with the ability to propose breakthrough semiconductor solutions. • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with use-case analysis and decomposition in testing.
• Proven expertise in microcontroller architecture, software, or systemlevel integration.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams, including silicon, software, firmware, and board design engineers.
• Knowledge of electronics and experience working with data acquisition equipment, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Experience with any of the following is considered a plus:
• Prior experience working at an Automotive Tier 1 supplier, defining and implementing test methodologies across all ASPICE levels of testing.
• Proficiency in microcontroller architecture and serial communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN, UART, Ethernet).
• Familiarity with requirements tracking tools such as IBM DOORS.
• Team and interpersonal skills suited for an international and intercultural environment
Job Description
• Define and own test strategies/test plans and drive long-term improvements in testing areas.
• Conduct requirement analysis from unit to system level and assist in defining the test infrastructure.
• Present and clarify the test processes and procedures implemented by the team to the auditors.
• Evaluate and select testing tools and technologies to optimize testing processes.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to define testing requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Lead quality assurance initiatives, providing technical guidance and strategic direction. NXP Restricted
• Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor and analyze testing metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Provide training and mentorship to testing teams to elevate their skills and knowledge.
