We are looking for someone who knows Unix/Linux environments, feels comfortable working with databases, and is fluent in English, to join our engineering team located in Katowice, Poznan, and Gdansk.

As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for administering servers, operating systems, and databases. But that's not all! You will become part of a team that co-creates environments for both internal use and for our telecommunications sector users. Your duties will also include preparing technical documentation, as well as designing hardware and network configurations for client requirements.

Your Responsibilities

• Administering servers, operating systems, databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Installing, maintaining, and administering internal and client environments
• Independently performing and improving technical, installation, and configuration tasks
• Creating technical documentation
• Designing hardware and network configurations for client requirements
• Troubleshooting performance issues
• Configuring monitoring tools for servers and applications

Our Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience in
• Knowledge of Unix / Linux environments and scripting (e.g., bash)
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch) and SQL, PL/SQL languages
• Understanding of network issues and TCP/IP communication protocols
• Knowledge of:
• SVN, git file versioning systems
• Apache Kafka
• General knowledge in the areas of Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization, and OpenStack cloud software
• English language at a level enabling reading technical documentation and communication with the client
• Practical use of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) for code/script optimization, automation, faster debugging, and log analysis

• knowledge of Bamboo, Jenkins, Ansible, JIRA tools
• Practical experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP)
