System Engineer Software Distribution & Client Management (m/w/d)

In large hardware and service framework agreements, the experts accompany public sector customers with detailed and individual consulting from infrastructure conception to hardware implementation and professional long-term support, as well as media pedagogical and technical training of users.

Tasks

• You are an expert for at least one of the common software distribution solutions (baramundi, Microsoft Intune/MECM or Matrix42) and drive their implementation among our customers forward
• You take over the creation, testing and adaptation of software packages
• In large rollout projects, you support technical project management, both remotely and physically in preparing devices at our warehouse/staging area
• You implement solutions directly in customer environments, advise on process optimization and conduct workshops
• You troubleshoot issues in the software distribution infrastructure and support third-level support

Qualification

• Fundamental project experience and deep knowledge of at least one of the products: baramundi, Microsoft MECM/SCCM, Microsoft Intune or Matrix42
• The willingness to develop into a specialist in at least one more of these tools within a short time frame
• Very good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and experience in the Windows server environment
• Safe application of PowerShell for automating routine tasks
• Fundamental understanding of network technologies (DHCP, DNS, PXE)
• Certificate of completion from a vocational training program for system integration or an equivalent IT study
• Professional experience in IT support or administration
• Certifications from the mentioned manufacturers (e.g. baramundi Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are highly beneficial
• You enjoy immersing yourself deeply in complex IT landscapes and learning new technologies
• You work structured, keep deadlines and take responsibility for your results – both in the office and at the customer's site
• You value neat packaging and error-free rollout processes
• A friendly demeanor and good communication skills when interacting with customers on-site are self-evident to you
