System Engineer Platform & Cloud (m/w/d)

The CPU Consulting & Software GmbH has been successfully operating as an IT service provider in the banking sector for more than four decades. As a subsidiary of the CPU Group, we focus our expertise on the successful implementation of software projects for our customers on site**.

Tasks

• Aufbau, Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung modern system- and platform architectures in public-cloud environments
• Design and provision container-based applications in Kubernetes environments
• Responsibility for stable, secure, and scalable runtime environments on Linux basis
• Automating deployments and platform components using Terraform, Ansible, Helm / Control Planes or comparable tools
• Participation in the conception and implementation of virtual networks, API gateways, zero-trust- and security-by-design approaches
• Etablissement and further development of DevOps pipelines (e.g. GitHub, GitLab)
• Closely working with architecture-, development- and platform teams

Qualification

• Completed degree in computer science with a focus on platform technologies or comparable qualification
• Multiple years of experience in the setup and operation of system platforms in public-cloud environments
• Very good knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies, as well as Linux-based system landscapes
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and orchestration
• Solid understanding of network-, security- and platform concepts
• DevOps mindset with experience in CI/CD pipeline concepts
• Knowledge of Python or Go for automation and tool support
• Structured, solution-oriented working style and high quality awareness
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills
