System Engineer in External Service / Customer Advisor, 80-100% (m/w/d)

For the further expansion of the established team, it is looking for a solution-oriented and customer-focused system engineer who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate should have experience in the following areas: - IT infrastructure (server, storage, network); - Cloud computing (AWS, Azure); - Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V); - Operating systems (Windows, Linux); - Scripting languages (PowerShell, Python); - Automation and scripting; - Knowledge of databases (Oracle, MySQL) is a plus. The candidate should also have experience in the following areas: - IT service management (ITIL); - Service desk operations; - Incident and problem management; - Change management; - Release management; - Configuration management; - Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ISO 20000) is a plus. As a system engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions. Your tasks will include: - Analyzing customer requirements; - Designing and implementing IT solutions; - Maintaining and troubleshooting existing systems; - Providing technical support to customers; - Collaborating with other teams (e.g., development, infrastructure); - Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends. The ideal candidate should have a degree in computer science or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in IT system engineering. You should also be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to travel throughout Eastern Switzerland.
