System Engineer - Cloud, Network & Security (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for a dedicated System Engineer who not only operates modern IT infrastructures but also actively shapes them. In this versatile role, you will work on demanding ICT solutions, combine on-premise and cloud technologies, and accompany projects from the initial analysis through implementation to ongoing operation.

Your Tasks:

• Planning, implementation, and further development of modern ICT infrastructures in various customer environments

• Analysis of requirements as well as technical conception and realization of infrastructure projects

• Implementation and optimization of network, firewall, and security solutions

• Support and further development of server, storage, and virtualization platforms

• Implementation of cloud and hybrid solutions with technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and VMware

• Ensuring stable operation as well as analysis and resolution of complex incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support

• Support and optimization of communication and VoIP solutions

• Conducting technical consultations and supporting customers with demanding questions

• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation as well as continuous improvement of standards and services

• Active participation in the further development of architectures and IT solutions

• Completed vocational training in the field of IT, ideally with a focus on system technology or platforms & infrastructure

• Several years of professional experience as a System Engineer in complex ICT environments, preferably in an IT service or consulting environment

• Sound knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, and VPN

• Experience with firewall and security solutions as well as modern infrastructure platforms

• Good knowledge of server, storage, and virtualization environments

• Experience with Microsoft technologies, especially Microsoft 365 and Azure

• Knowledge in the area of VoIP and modern communication solutions is an advantage

• Analytical mindset and enjoyment in sustainably solving technical challenges

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with customers and teams
