System Engineer Cloud & Datacenter Services (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for immediately a System Engineer (m/f/d) for one of our
partners with a focus on Cloud & Datacenter Services. This is a temporary position (ANÜ) in the automotive supplier environment at the Mönchengladbach location.

Tasks

• Active involvement in the automation of business processes and support for the global consolidation and harmonization of IT infrastructure.
• Consulting and support for business departments in the migration of business services to the cloud.
• Responsibility for the architecture, conception, preparation, and implementation of IT solutions in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Possible assumption of a Service Owner role.
• Coordination of releases in conjunction with Change and Configuration Management.
• Support for international projects from the beginning of conception through implementation to testing and operational phases (Proof of Concepts).
• 2nd and 3rd level support for the responsible products, including managing necessary communication with the manufacturer.
• Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of international cloud and on-premise data center services (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, HCI).
• Review and further development of security requirements in Windows Server infrastructures.
• Supervision of monitoring and complete data center services.
• Active involvement in cloud migration and shared responsibility for cloud technologies and solutions (M365, Azure, IaaS solutions, etc.).

Qualification

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable vocational training in the IT environment.
• 5 years of professional experience in IT operations with multiple locations.
• Service orientation and in-depth know-how in the area of cloud automation.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with organizational and presentation talent.
• Confident command of German and English.
• High degree of result and customer orientation.
• Initiative, resilience, flexibility, as well as determination and reliability.
• Willingness to travel on business occasionally.
