System Engineer – Active Directory (m/f/d)

Do you want to design complex IT infrastructures in a secure and future-proof way? Then become part of the Active Directory team and take responsibility for the stable operation, further development, and security of the central directory services in a modern, international corporate environment.

Your Tasks

• Ensuring the stable operation and availability of the Active Directory infrastructure

• Support and continuous development of the central directory services

• Administration and optimization of DNS, Group Policies (GPO), and other AD infrastructure services

• Implementation and automation of identity and authorization processes with PowerShell

• Analysis and resolution of complex issues in the Microsoft infrastructure environment

• Close collaboration with teams from Infrastructure, Security, Workplace, and Support

• Securing and hardening the Active Directory environment against potential threats

What you bring

• Completed apprenticeship or degree in an IT field, or a comparable qualification

• Several years of experience in the development and administration of global directory services

• Sound knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid Microsoft environments

• Proficient in DNS, Group Policies (GPO), PKI, and Windows Servers

• Very good knowledge of PowerShell and process automation

• Ideally, experience in carrying out migration projects

• Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment in solving complex technical challenges in corporate structures

• Strong communication skills and confident German and English language proficiency for collaboration in an international environment
