System Analyst - banking sector

About the project You will join a team implementing projects for one of the largest banks in Poland, in the area of mortgage and credit products. You will work at the intersection of business and technology: you will translate complex domain requirements (application process, scoring, credit decision, disbursement, post-sale servicing, restructuring) into precise system specifications and co-create solutions with developers, architects, and business owners. This is a long-term project where the analyst truly shapes the solution, not just transcribes workshop outcomes. Your tasks * Collecting, analyzing, and verifying business requirements in the area of credit and mortgage products * Translating business requirements into system and technical specifications * Process modeling (BPMN) and system solution design (UML) * Maintaining analytical and design documentation (Confluence, Enterprise Architect, JIRA) * Analyzing the impact of regulatory and business changes on credit systems * Supporting system, integration, and UAT testing, including SQL queries and API testing * Ongoing cooperation with the development team and business client, participation in Scrum ceremonies Requirements * Min. 4 years in system or business-system analysis, including min. 2 years in credit or mortgage projects in a bank * Practical knowledge of the credit product lifecycle: application, scoring, decision, disbursement, post-sale servicing, restructuring * Proficiency in functional and system documentation using UML and BPMN * Practical knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MSSQL, or PostgreSQL) * Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and ability to work with APIs * Autonomy in managing a topic from requirement to implementation * Polish C2, English min. B2 Nice to have * Enterprise Architect (or related modeling tool) * Working with documentation repositories in Git/Gerrit, familiarity with Jenkins pipelines * Knowledge of regulations relevant to the credit area (Recommendation S, Recommendation T, KNF guidelines, GDPR) * Experience in projects for building or developing core banking systems in the credit area * Knowledge of decision systems (BRMS) and scoring engines * Experience with microservices and event-driven architecture * CBAP, CCBA, IREB certifications or equivalent Cooperation terms * B2B contract * Hybrid work with an office in Warsaw (1-2 days a week) * Long-term project in a stable environment, with ample space for developing domain and analytical competencies
