Job description
Qwerty Solutions is a Romanian company focused on providing IT systems outsourcing and consultancy services.
We are expanding our team with a system engineer for the management of clients' servers and networks.
You will have the opportunity to work with modern, open-source, and cloud technologies.
You will work in an open and pleasant environment, oriented towards learning and continuous improvement.
What you will do:
You will work on various projects for the construction, maintenance, or improvement of enterprise IT infrastructures.
You will work with physical servers, cloud servers, and virtualization technologies.
You will monitor systems and backups to ensure the proper functioning of infrastructures.
You will provide level 2/level 3 support for the rest of the team members.
You will communicate with clients/partners to resolve various technical requirements.
You will administer Linux and Windows servers.
You will work with network equipment for configurations, modifications, and troubleshooting.
Depending on the projects, you will work with various technologies: you will install servers, you will perform network configurations, you will install and configure network services.
Requirements:
- Passionate about technology, eager to learn new things
- Teamwork
- English language, written and spoken
- Understanding of networking concepts
- Understanding of TCP/IP protocols
- Knowledge of Windows Server systems, Active Directory, File Server
- Elementary knowledge of Linux systems
- Knowledge of network equipment: managed switch, router, firewall
