Job description
Startech Team is recruiting a System Administrator for an operational IT project to be carried out entirely onsite in Iași. The role is a practical, execution-based one that involves physical work with IT equipment (laptops, peripherals), logistics, and basic technical support. It is not a classic system administration role (servers, network, etc.). Requirements:
- Minimum experience in IT support, IT logistics, or similar activities, which presents an advantage
- Basic knowledge of hardware (laptops, peripherals)
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Availability for operational activity, including repetitive tasks
- English language: medium level (B2)
- Preparation of IT equipment for delivery (staging)
- Wiping data from devices (data wipe), according to procedures
- Cleaning and refurbishing equipment
- Inventory management and tracking of equipment
- Packaging and preparing equipment for transport
- Coordinating deliveries and pickups with logistics partners
- Working in a ticketing system (ServiceNow or similar)
- Delivering and installing equipment to users in the same location
- Collecting equipment and providing basic hardware support to users
- Immediate availability for the project
- Physical presence daily (Monday - Friday; 08:00 - 17:00) in Iași (100% onsite);
- Right to work in Romania
- Availability for background verification (BGV)
