Job Description
- You ensure the management, maintenance, and optimal operation of the OT/DCS automation systems, including updates, lifecycle management, documentation, and technical infrastructure.
- You analyze and resolve complex faults within the OT and DCS environment and participate in root cause analyses to increase installation reliability.
- You guide technical projects and modifications such as upgrades, migrations, hardware replacements, and software adjustments, from preparation to implementation and aftercare.
- You oversee the cybersecurity and compliance of the OT infrastructure through patch management, backup management, disaster recovery testing, and the execution of cybersecurity measures.
- You act as the central point of contact for DCS-related topics and work closely with internal teams, OEMs, contractors, and management to ensure the continuity and performance of the installations.
Profile
- You hold a bachelor's degree in automation (I&C), networks, computer systems, or server infrastructures and have 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an industrial or technical environment.
- You have thorough knowledge of DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems and a good understanding of process automation and I&C principles.
- You are familiar with industrial networks and IT infrastructures, including switches, routers, firewalls, and common industrial protocols.
- You have insight into energy production processes and a basic knowledge of electricity and instrumentation.
- You have experience with OT cybersecurity, virtualization, and industrial IT platforms such as VMware, Windows Server, and secure OT environments.
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch or are willing to further develop this language within a year.
